Could it be a 1, 2, 3 punch? (I stole that line from our intern Jonathan Radford)
I am assuming that everyone will have power restored by next week (maybe I am to optimistic?).
Unfortunately, two models most trusted for forecasting 7 Days out (the GFS and the European ECMWF) are predicting another Nor'easter for the New York/NewJersey/New England area by next Monday.
Power, or no power, wind and rain don't help out clean up efforts!
Any good news?
This one doesn't look like it will be as "snowy" as the last one, but that remains to be seen.
It also looks like winds will be about 15 mph lower than last week's Nor'easter.
I should also note that this is 7 days out and could easily change.
However, when the GFS and Euro agree, I pay attention! I'm sure the forecasters in the northeast are too!
