We have been talking about our next strong cold front for days, so here is the latest on its affects for Middle Tennessee:
Wind Advisory Today (Sunday): Southerly winds ahead of the front today should run 15-25 mph with some gusts to 35 mph, and as high as 40 mph in west and northwest Middle TN.
Temperatures will top out in the 70s today under partly cloudy skies.
Expect a line of thunderstorms to push in overnight between midnight and sunrise, roughly 3-4am in Nashville.
Although the storms may contain gusty winds (also gusty even ahead of the storms), no widespread severe weather in anticipated. Here's the latest from The Storm Prediction Center.
On Monday, early morning storms will give way to cold and wet conditions, with rain showers continuing at least half of the day from Nashville westward and into the afternoon to the east.
Temperatures on Monday will fall through the 50s into the 40s during the afternoon.

Overnight temperatures starting Monday night will be below freezing (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings) with lows in the low 30s in the city and 20s in the outlying areas.
