FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
Police are investigating after a man armed with a handgun robbed a Franklin SunTrust Bank late Friday evening.
The robbery was reported just before 6 p.m. at the branch located at 731 Cool Springs Boulevard.
The suspect, who was last seen wearing a hooded black jacket, olive green pants, black shoes and a mask, entered the bank and demanded cash.
The man fled the scene after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a tall, slender white male.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
