Black Friday changes coming for Walmart

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

When it comes to the Black Friday experience, customers count Walmart a pretty safe bet.

"It's the excitement, the hype," shopper Tom King told Nashville's News 2.

Shopper Lacy Dyer added, "I'll definitely be out here."

For seasonal bargain hunters, there's good news.

Walmart is kicking off their in-store specials on Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m.

Customers who line up for certain big ticket items from 10 to 11 p.m. Thanksgiving night will get a $75 gift card, even if all those items are sold before you get to the front of the line.

"I don't think it's ever too early try to get in there and get the best deals," Dyer said.
