NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning in the Forest Hills area.
The incident was reported just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Hillsboro Pike.
Metro police told Nashville's News 2 a maroon Honda minivan and silver Mercedes were involved in the collision.
Three people were transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries.
Traffic was backed up in the area and drivers were urged to take alternate routes.
