Traffic slowed along I-40 in Smith County

CARTHAGE, Tenn. -

Traffic was slow along Interstate 40 in Smith County after reports of an accident.

The incident was reported around 4 a.m. on I-40 East near mile marker 262.

Eastbound traffic was affected with the right lanes blocked.

The accident was expected to be cleared by 7 a.m.
