Two of the biggest stars on ABC's new hit television sow "Nashville" also happen to be the youngest on the show.

Real-life sisters Lennon, 13, and Maisy Stella, 8, play the musically talented daughters of Rayna James on the primetime show.

The pair recently sat down with Nashville's News 2 and said the show in some ways really isn't that much different than their real lives.

"We are together so much," Lennon said.

The rising stars, who play Maddie and Daphne on the show, said their parents and family have played a huge role in their musical abilities.

"In Canada, our family owns a music school," Maisy said.

Lennon added, "My parents are musicians as well, so they taught us."

The family moved to Music City just a few years ago.

Upon their move, younger sister Maisy tried out and won the role of Daphne. A short time later, producers decided they wanted also wanted to cast Lennon as Maddie.

"They asked me to try out and they were like we want you girls to be on the show. It was awesome," Lennon recalled.

The sisters told Nashville's News 2 moving to Music City a few years ago and now staring in the show has meant a certain adjustment to stardom for the duo.

"It's so different having people recognize us from ‘Nashville.' It's really fun," Lennon said.

Sister Maisy added, "It's so awesome when we go out [and people ask] ‘Are you guys' Maisy?' It's just so amazing we could sing on that big of a show."

"Nashville" airs each Wednesday night at 9 p.m. on Nashville's News 2.
