NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Just days before their exhibition opener Vanderbilt basketball took a big blow with the suspension of guard Dai-Jon Parker.
Parker was suspended indefinitely for a violation of Vanderbilt's non-academic team policy.
"Dai-Jon failed to uphold the high standard that we expect of a Vanderbilt basketball player and will be disciplined accordingly," said head coach Kevin Stallings.
Parker played 11 minutes a game as a freshman averaging just under two points a game last season.
Vanderbilt says there will be no other comments on the suspension.
