FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
Emergency crews were on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash Friday morning on Interstate 65 in Williamson County.
The crash was reported in the northbound between Moore's Lane and Concord Road around 8:30 a.m.
Multiple vehicles were involved and debris was reportedly scattered across the highway.
Brentwood police and the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the interior north and southbound lanes were blocked.
Traffic was backed up in both directions and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
The scene was cleared and the interstate reopened by 10 a.m.
