Smyrna police are continuing to investigate after employees of an area bakery were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night. According to a report in the Daily News Journal, the robbery occurred at Azteca Bakery located on Nissan Drive just after 9 p.m. The victims reported to police three or four armed men entered the bakery and forced all of the employees into the back of the business. The men are said to have gotten away with an undisclosed amount of money, as well as cell phones belonging to bakery employees. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. Police said the suspects are described as Hispanic males. At the time of the robbery they were all wearing hoods over there heads. The investigation is ongoing.
