A Murfreesboro church volunteer was arrested and charged with indecent exposure for allegedly exposing himself to neighbors.
James Steverson, 65, was taken into custody last Wednesday morning outside his home on Leonard Drive in Christiana after he was observed taking off his clothes and touching himself in a sexual manner.
During their investigation, authorities discovered Steverson works as a volunteer at Christian Life Church in Murfreesboro.
Steverson was booked into the Rutherford County jail and has since been released on a $3,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court in early November.
