CARTHAGE, Tenn. -
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Monday night arrested a Smith County man on sex charges involving a minor victim.
Frank Young, 26, of Carthage, was indicted Monday by the Smith County Grand Jury on 12 counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
TBI opened an investigation into allegations against Young earlier this month that involved one minor male victim.
The investigation revealed that between June 2010 and March 2012, Young engaged in a sexual relationship with the child on numerous occasions and exchanged explicit photos of the victim via his cell phone.
Young was booked into the Smith County jail on a $50,000 bond.
