Weekend Chill May Be Strengthened By Tropical System

As we've been telling you, enjoy the Indian Summer weather this work week, because a big cool down is on the way for this weekend.

But besides a strong weekend cold front, a tropical storm (possibly hurricane) should move northward in the Atlantic just off the eastern seaboard.

As the Canadian high moves our way from the northwest, the difference in pressure (pressure gradient) between that high and the low pressure of the tropical system would cause fairly strong northerly winds.

This should result in pulling down more cold air from the north than would have happened without the tropical system off the east coast.

I still think that our first freeze is possible by late weekend or early next week.
