NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police have filed a second domestic assault charge against decommissioned officer Andre Johnson.

Johnson, 46, was booked early Saturday on a warrant charging him with punching and kicking his wife during an argument on April 25 of this year.  A review of medical documentation showed that the victim sought treatment for her injuries on April 27.

Johnson was arrested October 10 on a warrant charging him with striking his wife during an argument in February.

His wife reported the incidents to the police department's domestic violence division on the night of October 9.

Johnson is under administrative investigation by the police department's office of professional accountability.

He was relieved of all law enforcement authority on October 10.
