A Columbia woman has been arrested on charges she tried to kill her boyfriend earlier this year.

According to police, Casandra Hill stabbed her boyfriend, Justin Wilson, in the chest during an argument on May 25.  Police found Wilson bleeding on Hill's doorstep that morning.

He survived the attack.

Hill was charged with attempted second-degree murder Wednesday and booked into the Maury County jail on a $500,000 bond.

Police said Hill has a history of assault charges dating back to 2002, including a 2003 charge for aggravated assault.
