KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Knoxville car wash is asking customers to come clean about who they support in the presidential race.
WVLT-TV reported banners at the three locations of 3 Minute Magic Carwash designate the Barack Obama and Mitt Romney lanes and workers are keeping track of how many customers use which.
Owner Jim Rooney says the aim is to get people talking and encourage them to vote.
If drivers get into the wrong lane, they can switch their preference at a clipboard when they come out of the wash bay.
Rooney said results of the Wash the Vote effort will posted on the car wash's Facebook page.
