FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
Police arrested a convicted felon for a stabbing that occurred at a Franklin residence on Saturday night.
The incident involving the 32-year-old man was reported around 8:45 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Natchez Street.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.
Authorities located the 28-year-old suspect, identified as Lacarvis Miller, nearby a short time later.
Detectives believe the stabbing stemmed from an argument over a woman.
Miller was charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Williamson County jail on a $50,000 bond.
Police said he has a history of weapon and drug charges.
He is scheduled to appear in court on October 25.
