Fire destroys 3 apartments in west Nashville - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

Officials are investigating after a fire destroyed three apartments in west Nashville Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to the scene around 10:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of West End Avenue, not far from Saint Thomas Hospital.

Upon arrival, fire crews reported heavy smoke and visible flames.

A second alarm was dispatched to the scene around 11 a.m.

Crews were able to contain the fire just after the second crew was called.

Officials are working to determine the cause.
