CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A babysitter is in jail after turning herself in on charges of aggravated child abuse.

Jessica Watkins, 33, was taking care of an infant, and while in her care, the child suffered multiple broken bones.

Watkins reportedly called the child's mother on September 28, telling her the boy's leg was swollen.

When the mother picked up her two-month-old son, she immediately took him to the emergency room of Blanchfield Army Community Hospital.

From there, the child was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where doctors concluded the child had suffered a broken femur, tibia, clavicle and humerus.

During an interview by detectives, Watkins said she snatched the child from the car seat and heard a pop.

She said she not realize the child was injured until after the mother took the child to the hospital.

Watkins remains in jail on $50,000 bond.
