Man, 25, injured in Apollo Drive shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are investigating after a 25-year-old was shot Wednesday afternoon off Una Antioch Pike in south Nashville.

The man told police he was walking in the 4700 block of Apollo Drive around 3:20 p.m. when four men approached and asked him for money.

The victim ran and was fired upon as he tried to flee the area.

The victim suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds to his leg and arm.

He was taken to a local hospital.

Additional information was not released.
