NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Rutherford County woman is charged with doctor shopping for a second time in an effort to obtain controlled substances by using TennCare as payment.
Authorities said 29-year-old Adriane Dearing is accused of fraudulently using the state's health benefits to obtain the painkiller Lortab in Davidson County.
Dearing was arrested last month on a similar grand jury indictment in Rutherford County.
TennCare fraud is a Class E felony and carries a sentence up to two years in prison per charge.
