2 teens charged with aggravated robbery after hold-ups
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police arrested two teenagers on Monday night for their involvement in two separate hold-ups.
In the first incident, the victim reported she was walking in the 1000 block of Lenore Street just before 8 p.m. when she was approached by four suspects at gunpoint. The suspects fled the scene on foot after taking her wallet and cell phone.
A short time later two men walking in the 500 block of South 13th Street said they were approached by three suspects who asked them for a cigarette before robbing them at gunpoint.
The suspects fled after taking money from the victims, as well as a wallet and cell phone.
The men flagged down a nearby officer who arrested the 14 and 16 year old suspects after a short pursuit.
Police recovered two handguns from the two minors.
Both minors are charged in juvenile court with three counts of aggravated robbery each.
Police are working to identify the remaining suspects.
