Traffic slowed from multi-vehicle wreck on I-40

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A multi-vehicle accident slowed traffic on Interstate 40 in Nashville just ahead of the morning commute Monday.

The crash was reported around 6:40 a.m. on I-40 West at mile marker 213 between I-24 split and the Fesslers Lane exit.

Westbound traffic was affected with the left lane blocked.

The wreck was cleared and interstate reopened by about 8 a.m.

Additional details were not known.
