Police search for violent sex offender

MANCHESTER, Tenn. -

Authorities in Coffee County are searching for a violent sex offender after he removed his GPS tracking device.

Jason Holt, who sometimes goes by the name Jason Blake "Youngsta," was last seen Saturday at Hullet's Shell Station on Woodbury Highway in Manchester.

Holt was convicted on three accounts of attempted rape of a child in 2009.

According to Thunder Radio, Holt came to Manchester from Murfreesboro and was traveling with a woman and two young children.

Holt has several tattoos, including one under his right eye.

He's about six feet, two inches tall and has hazel eyes and strawberry blond hair.

Anyone with information on Holt's whereabouts is urged to call the Manchester Police Department at 931-728-2099 or the Coffee County Sheriff's Department at 931-728-3591.
