Century old bones found near Nashville construction site

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are investigating the discovery of human bones found Friday afternoon near a construction site in east Nashville.

The discovery was made near the intersection of Cleveland and Lischey avenues.

The bones are believed to be more than 100 years old and may have been from an old cemetery site.

The investigation is ongoing.
