FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
A Franklin High School teacher was injured after she was struck by a vehicle following the school's homecoming parade late Friday morning.
Authorities said the incident occurred on Hillsboro Road around 11 a.m.
Williamson County Schools' spokesperson Carol Birdsong said the driver of the vehicle involved is not a current student.
The teacher, whose identity was not immediately released, was transported to a local hospital.
Her condition was not known.
No one else was injured.
