NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police arrested an Old Hickory McDonald's manager Thursday for allegedly selling drugs out of the restaurant.
Orlando Head, 38, of Madison, was arrested after police said he sold two ounces of marijuana for $220 to a police operative.
Head is alleged to have accepted the cash at the front counter of the Robinson Road restaurant before directing the operative to an SUV in the parking lot from where the marijuana was retrieved.
Head was on probation at the time of his arrest following a 2004 conviction for selling cocaine.
He also has convictions for reckless endangerment and aggravated assault in the 1990s.
The restaurant's owner, Will Mason III, released the following state regarding the incident Friday afternoon.
"We are currently investigating and speaking to other employees, but at this point believe this is isolated to one individual. I condemn this type of behavior; it is not consistent with my values, nor McDonald's values. We are co-operating fully with the police department in their investigation," the statement read.
