Police: Woman found in hot tub died of self-inflicted gunshot wound

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Police said a 20-year-old woman who was found deceased in a hot tub late Thursday night died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The victim, identified as Bridgett Combs-Holt, was found unresponsive around 11:30 p.m. at a home located at 3300 East Lake Drive.  

Authorities said a suicide note was found in the victim's purse. A pistol was also discovered in the hot tub.

The investigation is ongoing.
