Teen sustains head injury during game at Hunters Lane - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A 15-year-old student sustained a head injury while playing in a football game at Hunters Lane High School on Thursday night.

The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was transported to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

According to the school's Web site, Hunters Lane was playing against Antioch High School.

It was not immediately known which school the injured player attends.

No additional information was released.
