Columbia police are searching for a man wanted for stabbing his wife following a fight at the couple's home Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the home on Bradford Circle shortly after 7 p.m. to find Karen White with a stab wound to her chest.
White was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.
She was last listed in stable condition.
Warrants for attempted first degree murder have been obtained for White's husband, Joddie White.
Police said it is possible he may be on his way to Alabama.
