Crews investigate fire at east Nashville market - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

Fire officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a market in east Nashville Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported around 3 a.m. at Mac's Market in the 1300 block of Gallatin Avenue near Douglas Avenue.

Officials reported heavy smoke at the scene. Damage was contained to the back storage area and the roof.

A portion of Gallatin Avenue at Douglas Avenue was shutdown while crews battle the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

Officials did not immediately determine the cause of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
