NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Traffic was slow along Interstate 40 East where it merges with Interstate 65 in Nashville overnight Sunday after a truck hauling ice cream overturned.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. between mile markers 207 and 208.
According to police, as the driver was rounding the curve he went off the roadway and rolled into the median.
Crews were on the scene for several hours working to clear the roadway.
Officials believe the weather was a factor in the crash.
No injuries were reported.
The roadway reopened around 6:15 a.m. Monday.
Officials told Nashville's News 2 they planned to leave the truck in the median and revisit the crash site later on Monday.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
