Man shot at north Nashville apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are looking for suspects in a shooting that happened Sunday near the corner of 16th Avenue and Herman Street.

Police responded to the call at the Herman Street Apartments. Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his ankle.

Police told Nashville's News 2 several shots were fired and they were searching for shell casings. The victim told police he did not know the man that shot him.

The investigation is ongoing.
