CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
Police say alcohol could be the cause of an accident that left one person in critical condition.
Early Sunday morning, at about 2:40 a.m., police said a Pontiac G6 driven by 29-year-old Kelly Anderson struck a railroad bridge in Clarksville.
Anderson was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was last listed in critical but stable condition.
A passenger in the vehicle, 32-year-old Daniel Shuckhart, was taken to Gateway Medical Center with minor injuries.
Police said neither person was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
