Man, 52, killed in west Nashville motorcycle crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A motorcyclist is dead after losing control of his bike and hitting a wire barrier.

Police said the victim was Michael Edgin, 52, of Ashland City. Police said Edgin lost control of his 2005 Harley Davidson while navigating a curve.

Authorities said the accident happened on Briley Parkway just before 10 p.m.

Edgin was pronounced dead at the scene.
