MTSU looks into purchasing former MTMC property - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

Middle Tennessee State University is reportedly looking into purchasing the property where Middle Tennessee Medical Center was previously located.

The Daily News Journal reported the 17.4 acres, located on North Highland Avenue, includes a 115,000-square-foot building in addition to a 143,000-square-foot parking garage.

University officials have said the property would be used for unspecified academic purposes if a purchase agreement is reached.

MTMC moved to its current location on Medical Center Parkway nearly two years ago.
