Murfreesboro police arrested three suspects following a bra theft at the Victoria's Secret store at The Avenue on Medical Center Parkway.
Shortly before Noon Tuesday, police said the suspects entered the store and stole dozens of bras from the retailer.
Police said upon their arrival they discovered a tool often used to removed security devices, as well as an empty plastic bag inside of Porche Bennett's purse.
The 27-year-old told officers that the device belonged to her father and that she was just holding it for him.
Officers then asked for consent to search Bennett's vehicle where a large shopping bag was discovered with the stolen merchandise in plain view.
Upon recovering the items, officers ordered the driver of the car, identified as Xavier Patterson out of the vehicle as well.
Both he and Bennett were taken into custody.
A third suspect, identified as Jothany Smith was taken into custody a short time later after officers discovered her hiding behind a vehicle. Police said she also had a similar device used to remove security devices.
Police added that Smith's one-year-old child was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.
All three of the suspects are charged with theft over $1,000.
Bennett and Smith also face additional charges.
