An up-and-coming band is expected to bring a big crowd downtown Thursday night and concert-goers are urged to arrive early.
Live on the Green attendees should prepare for heavy traffic and parking issues for Thursday's show, headlined by Alabama Shakes.
The staff plans to make arrangements to accommodate a larger crowd than normal.
Third Avenue North will close from Union Street to James Robertson Parkway starting at 3 p.m.
Extra parking will be available at LP Field in lots E, F, G, and M for $10, in addition to the Public Square parking garage.
Fly Golden Eagle and The Apache Relay will open Thursday's show.
The event site will open to the public at 5 p.m. with music from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
