'Dancing With the Stars' eliminates its first 'All-Star'

LOS ANGELES -

Pamela Anderson and her partner, Tristan MacManus, have become the first "Dancing with the Stars" all-stars to see the ballroom lights dim on their shot at the mirror ball trophy.

Anderson was at the bottom of the judges' leader board Tuesday night and that meant it was up to the viewers to save her. They did not.

She also skipped out on doing interviews after her elimination.

In his interview, MacManus admitted they didn't rehearse as much as they could have.  He said they tried but time just got away from them.

MacManus said, "Maybe the time, the nerves, the intensity of what we were doing, maybe, maybe just didn't pan out the way we wanted it to, unfortunately."

Despite being in the middle of the pack with their judges' scores, "Dancing with the Stars" Season II champion Drew Lachey and his partner, Anna Trebunskaya, were in the bottom two and barely survived elimination.

Monday's dances are the quickstep and the jive, a dance Lachey is already looking ahead to.

"I'm going to do everything in my power to make it the best jive that I've ever possibly done and the best jive this dance floor has ever seen," he said, adding, "You know, I don't care if I have to literally bleed on this floor.  It is going to be the best jive I can possibly, possibly do."

"Dancing with the Stars" airs Mondays and Tuesdays on Nashville's News 2.
