2 injured in head-on collision on Mt. View Road

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Two people were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday morning in Antioch.

The accident was reported shortly after 8 a.m. in the 5700 block of Mt. View Road after a driver swerved while going around a curve and struck an oncoming vehicle head-on.

Both drivers suffered back and neck injuries but none were believed to be life-threatening.

One patient was transported to Southern Hill Medical Center and the other was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

The roadway was blocked for about an hour while crews cleared the scene.
