LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville woman has been charged with stealing more than $6,000 worth of baby formula over the course of a month.
St. Matthews police say 18-year-old Ruby Bard was arrested Saturday on a shoplifting charge after being caught trying to leave a Kroger with a tub full of 41 cans of formula.
The Courier-Journal reported Bard was also caught on camera with the same tub stealing formula on Aug. 25, 26 and 30, and Sept. 10 and 13.
The value of the 41 cans of baby formula was reported to be $6,200.
Police say Bard had been caught shoplifting at a Kroger before and had been banned from all of the company's stores.
