The suspect responded to the advertisement on Mocospace.com and agreed to meet the seller and pay $400 for the device.

The two planned to meet on September 6 in a parking lot in the 700 block of Old Hickory Boulevard in Brentwood.

During the exchange, the suspect sprayed the seller in the face with pepper spray, took the device and fled in a Pontiac.

Police are searching for a 1990s model two-door gray or silver Pontiac with a sunroof.

According to a news release, the suspect is a black male in his 20s.  He is approximately five feet, nine inches tall and weighs roughly 160 pounds.

According to the victim, the suspect had a beard at the time of the incident.
