Murfreesboro police are working to identify the suspect who attempted to rob a local bank midday Wednesday.
According to the incident report, a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt entered the Bank of America branch on Middle Tennessee Boulevard around Noon, approached a teller and handed her a robbery demand note.
The note read, "Give me $10,000 and no alarms."
When the teller looked around in an attempt to get someone's attention, the suspect started saying, "No, no, no…" and began fumbling with his left pocket, the report stated.
At that point, the suspect grabbed the note and ran from the building.
Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is urged to call Murfreesboro police.
