2 killed in overnight blaze in Stewart County

DOVER, Tenn. -

Two people were killed in a house fire in Stewart County on Tuesday night.

The fire broke out at a residence located on Upper Standing Road in Dover, Tennessee, around 80 miles away from Nashville just after 11 p.m.

Authorities did not immediately release the victims' names.

The investigation is ongoing.

The American Red Cross is assisting surviving family members.

No additional information was released.
