Teen arrested after hitting step-father with baseball bat


A Clarksville teen was arrested after he struck his step-father in the head with a baseball bat on Monday.

According to a report in the Leaf Chronicle, the incident involving 18-year-old Sterling Jackson occurred while the victim was arguing with the teen's mother.  

The victim, whose identity was not released, was bleeding from his forehead and had a bump on the back of his head when police arrived to the scene.

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Jackson is charged with aggravated assault. He has since been released on a $5,000 bond.
