Local elementary cafeteria manager to appear on 'Chopped'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

An area cafeteria manager is scheduled to make an appearance on a popular television show on the Food Network later this month.

Cindy Tinnel works at Henry Maxwell Elementary in Nashville.

Earlier this year, Tinnel was selected to compete in a "Lunch Lady" episode of the hit show "Chopped."

The episode featuring Tinnel is set to air on the Food Network on Tuesday, September 25 at 9 p.m.
