A 17-year-old is in critical condition after getting shot multiple times in the stomach.
Police responded to the 100 block of Charles E Davis Boulevard in south Nashville around 8:00 Saturday night.
Police told Nashville's News 2 a witness saw two suspects approach the victim, one on a bicycle, the other on foot. The witness said the suspect on the bike started shooting. Once shots were fired, everyone involved ran in different directions.
Police said the victim collapsed in a stairwell. He was shot four times – twice in the abdomen and twice in the arm.
Medics rushed the teen to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He is in critical but stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the shooting. The possible witness told police both suspects were black males.
