2 injured in west Nashville shooting, 1 in custody

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Two people were injured in a west Nashville shooting Friday night.

The incident was reported in the 900 block of Taylor Merritt Court around 9 p.m.

Police told Nashville's News 2 friends transported a 19-year-old male to Centennial Medical Center.

His condition was unknown.

The second victim was shot in the lower stomach and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in serious condition.

One suspect is in police custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
