13-year-old Mt. Juliet girl found, alert canceled

Hailey Privette, 13, went missing from her Mt. Juliet home Wednesday.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

An endangered child alert issued for a missing Mt. Juliet teen has been canceled after the girl was found safe on Thursday.

Thirteen-year-old Hailey Privette was last seen at her home on Wednesday.

Mt. Juliet police detectives located her in the Hermitage area around Noon, 30 minutes after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued the alert for her.

Privette was in the company of a 28-year-old man.

Police said their investigation is continuing and charges against the man are possible.
