Convicted felon charged in beating of woman

Carlos Wall, 37, was arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault Wednesday.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

Franklin police arrested a violent convicted felon this week on charges he severely beat a woman he was previously in a relationship with.

Carlos Wall, 37, was arrested after officers responded to the Goose Creek Inn just after 4 a.m. Wednesday amid reports of a domestic assault.

The victim, who was severely beaten, was taken to an area hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Wall was located a short time later and found to be in the possession of a loaded 9mm pistol.

He was charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and violating an order of protection and booked into the Williamson County jail on a $760,000 bond.

A September 20 court date has been set.
